Andrew “Andy” Pearson, 21 of Cedar Key, passed away on Oct.9, 2015 from injuries in a motor vehicle accident. Andy was born on Oct. 14, 1993 in Gainesville, FL., and had recently moved to Cedar Key from Chiefland. His goals were to join the US Military and he always wanted to be a firefighter and he volunteered for the Chiefland Fire Services. Andy was passionate about his grandmother who recently passed away, his fellow brothers and sisters of the Fire Department. Mr. Pearson enjoyed the outdoors, boating, being an Artist who loved to draw fire trucks and engines. He enjoyed the “Florida Gators”, animals and his family brought the most enjoyment to his life.
He is survived by his mother, Tammy Kerr of Canon City, CO., Chris Kerr, a stepdad of Crestview, FL., a father, Robin Russell of Gainesville, FL., two sisters Destanie Heslar of Canon City, Co., and Olivia Arce of Sarasota, FL., a niece, De’Launie and a nephew, Deodrick both of Canon City, Co., his grandfather, Jimmie Sansbury of Canon City, Co., a grandmother, Bessie Henry of Navarre, FL., many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
A Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5-6 PM and a Funeral Service will follow at 6pm at Langford-Rogers Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
